Youth Development Program

At Noosa Heads SLSC we know our youth play a key role in the Club and are the future leaders within the organisation. They are vital to patrols, assisting with nippers, competing in Surf Sports and volunteering hours and hours of their time to assist the community.

We recognise this and have created a program specifically for 13yrs to 17yrs who hold a current Surf Rescue Certificate or Bronze Medallion.

The program provides members with opportunities to develop their personal and leadership skills in a positive social environment through a range of activities and special events. A rewards program was initiated to ensure our youth are recognised for their achievements, rescues and outstanding performances.

Youth are updated regularly with opportunities not only in the Club but within the Branch, State and Surf Life Saving Australia.
